Meal planning is a wonderful tool for healthy eating.
As a Registered Dietitian, helping patients plan their meals is one of my biggest tools for success. Meal planning is incredibly effective for helping people achieve consistency with their intake, while also taking a lot of guess work out of day-to-day cooking. Despite how effective it is, I still hear many complaints about the challenges of meal planning.
“It takes too much time.”
“I just end up making the same things over and over again”
“I have a hard time sticking to my goals and being consistent”
and even “Healthy cooking just isn’t tasty or fun!”
Any of these sound familiar? Since we struggle with these reasons and many others, meal planning often falls by the wayside. This causes unnecessary stress, and usually leads to disorganized and imbalanced intake.
So how can we solve this problem? A personalized meal plan!
Let us take the stress of meal planning out of your hands with our comprehensive meal planning service!
Our meal plans are personalized to meet your goals, needs, and preferences. They help your prioritize balancing your intake, while also taking time, taste, and convenience into account!
We take several things into account when building your meal plan, including:
- Your personal health and wellness goals – from weight management to better energy, we assess where you are at and where you want to be.
- Your preferences and requests – whether you have allergies, specific dietary needs, or just likes and dislikes, we can accommodate you.
- Your time and ability – if you need easy, we got you!
Each meal plan comes with access to your calendar spread of meals, recipes, and full grocery lists, all from our convenient portal (available through website and app). Recipes are simple, provide step-by-step instruction, and include complete nutrient data (if you want it!).
Here's how the process works
- Purchase whichever plan meets your needs: 1 week, 1 month, 3 months, or 6 months.
- After the purchase, you will receive an email with a form to fill out regarding food preferences, allergies, and goals.
- A Registered Dietitian will review your request and build a meal plan specifically for you.
- You’ll receive an invitation to access the meal plan through Practice Better. You can modify the recipes right in your account (ex. increasing serving size).
- If you signed up for more than one week, then you’ll receive another form before your second week where you can request changes. We send follow-up forms every two weeks for the duration of your plan.
Whether you have specific health goals or are just looking to add some variety to your diet, a personalized meal plan is a great way to achieve balance!
